Recommended initial sessions
Full body assessment (using palpation)
This is often enjoyed as an exploratory first session and usually takes 90 minutes.
Danny’s full body palpation helps create a ‘tension map’ of your body. We discover which muscles and joints are too tight, which are too loose and what’s just right. This offers invaluable information for designing a balanced exercise regime.
The strategy is simple but effective… we use strength training and Pilates to develop the areas that are loose and massage/flexibility exercise to release what’s tight. To further embody positive change, Danny will give you ergonomic tips on movement in daily life, such as gait, reaching, bending and good posture.
With this approach, positive benefits are soon felt and… are lasting.
Follow up sessions can include detailed massage to unwind fascia, restore natural flow and bring a new sense of balance to your flexibility and tone levels.
Alignment and flexibility assessment
Learn more about the balance of your body with a three dimensional postural and movement assessment. From the information gathered and your goals in mind, an exercise and awareness plan will be set in motion.
To strike the right balance of intensity with future workouts, this 60 minute session is also useful at the start of your journey with Danny.
He will assess your posture, over-all flexibility, gait and ergonomics. This last point is key as sometimes our movement patterns and beliefs do not match the natural human design. He can also check on your work station set-up to find postural ease any time you need to be at the desk.
When the session is over, Danny will leave you with suggested ‘snack stretches’ as homework.

Strength training for a capable body
Build whole-body functional strength using calisthenics, resistance bands and dynamic Pilates for extra core focus. Sessions are tailored to your fitness level and allow space and awareness for any injuries.
We use warm ups to not only prepare the body, but to enhance flexibility and check on sound movement mechanics. After the session, cool downs further enhance your suppleness and can include hands-on assisted stretches.
HIIT for CV fitness and energy
Not always the most popular of exercise sessions, however HIIT is the number one energy booster! After a good warm up, Danny will tailor the interval intensity to match your experience and fitness level while respecting any injuries.
Martial fitness
Release tension, build stamina and boost confidence like nothing else! Danny will bring strike pads for you practice on. Learn a variety of effective elbows, punches, knees and kicks that double up as effective self-defence moves.
Gentle movement class
Sometimes you just want to feel better in your body without pushing yourself. Danny’s gentle movement session blends Pilates, yoga, breath work and assisted stretches. To enhance this relaxing class, you might want to put on some background soothing music.

“My primary goal if for you to feel present and alive in a healthy body”
I come from a background of martial arts where respect, awareness, strength, inner belief, self discipline and personal development are natural by-products.
These qualities have filtered into my PT sessions, movement classes and health coaching for 35 years. As time gently rolls by, I have found that my teachings and my own practice have naturally evolved.
I don't do so much full contact karate these days or hit the gym for hours at time. I discovered the same flow through the subtlety of meditation, the simplicity of body awareness, the richness of clean living and the effectiveness of short dynamic exercise sessions.
I am also fascinated by healthy eating and my passion is to discover more and more about what it means to eat a natural human diet.
My sessions help to restore the natural balance, efficiency and strength that your body wants to express. Before long I want to see you regain a sense of enjoyment in your daily movement, exercise and leisure time.
