Unusually, we do not have our usual functional strength training, rather a focus on mat-work for core structures around the hips, abs and lower back. While on the mat, we also have exercises for the legs and upper body (12 sets in total in just 33 minutes). Full class notes below.

  • Sensing
  • Pre-test of hip and knee flexion from standing
  • Seated arcing
  • Strength 1 - Left leg raises from seated
  • Strength 2 - Right leg raises from seated
  • Strength 3 Left leg arcing raises from seated
  • Strength 4 - Right leg arcing raises from seated
  • Strength 5 - Multi-dimensional left leg raises from the mat
  • Strength 6 Multi-dimensional right leg raises from the mat
  • Strength 7 - Double leg hip twists 
  • Strength 8 - Opposite arm and leg raises from face down
  • Strength 9 Double arm lifts, double leg lifts and option for all four limbs to lift up
