Why meditate?
As well as a relaxing experience in the moment, the list of benefits associated with meditation is potentially endless!
Pretty soon, you can expect a clearer mind which improves mental focus, attention, memory, creativity and decision making.
But beyond the mind, a regular practice of meditation also supports emotional wellbeing, sleep, body awareness, good posture, tension release and an over-all more positive outlook on life.
Classes last around 20 minutes and to enhance posture, body comfort and presence, each class starts with a short movement practice.
Why stretch?
These videos aim to release tension/back pain, support great posture and quickly release mental tension.
When we stay in one position for too long, the body tightens up. If you tend to sit only (as opposed to the flexible work station which allows for sitting and standing), then this compounds imbalances of tight and loose areas of the body.
Stretching brings you back to a neutral body that is in balance with itself and therefore more comfortable. Good posture soon becomes natural and your default position.
These classes are around the five minute mark, so are easy to fit into your day.
Why breathe?
Prana means life force, ayama means to extend or expand. So, we use pranayama practices to increase our life force.
And it’s this inner vitality that energises the mind and body and stimulates a deeper conscious awareness.
These classes are shorter and more uplifting than the meditations and as well as breath, they include mudras (hand position), eye focus, sometimes movement and even mantra (voice projection).
They help to release anxiety, tension and stress whilst building energy, creativity and productivity.

This course includes audio tracks (each around 60 minutes) of music that are embedded with binaural beats. We have:

Depending on the track you chose, you could ramp up your mental focus/alertness, be more contemplative/creative or enter deep restorative relaxation.
To create a calming atmosphere in your workspace, try playing binaural beats softly in the background.
For deeper focus and positive brain entrainment, use headphones to enhance the effect.
